Kombu (Laminaria Ochroleuca) is a brown seaweed with long stretched, thick leaves and an intense taste.
Kombu is traditionally used to flavor water for soup, stock, vegetables, stews, fish, seafood, sauces, etc. The recommended dose for 1 liter is 1 gram of dried kombu.
Cook the kombu for 5 minutes. Remove the kombu from the liquid when it is flavored and use only the liquid.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / ALLERGENS
The seaweed may contain traces of molluscs, crustaceans and fish and may contain small natural materials from the sea. The white color that can appear on the seaweed comes from the salt in the seaweed and provides a natural preservation.
Store at room temperature in a dry and dark place. Once opened, store in an airtight container and consume before the ‘best before’ date on the packaging.
