Ingredients: shower gel enriched with seaweed extract and precious essential oils (lavender, rose geranium and ylang ylang).

Seaweed extract: We gather the seaweed fresh from the shore, blend it immediately with oil, and perform an ultrasound-assisted extraction at a certain wavelength and frequency for about 10 minutes. The filtered oil will be quite dense, due to the content of organic silicon. AlgAran uses the filtrate (by-product) as an ingredient with anti-inflammation properties. Use: Squeeze a small amount of Organic Seaweed Shower Gel on the palm of your hands or a sponge. Lather and then rinse thoroughly. Being highly moisturizing, it never dries the skin.

AlgAran Seaweed extract benefits on the skin:

Moisturizes and protects skin: Laminaria extract is full of helpful proteins, carbohydrates, amino acids, and vitamins including vitamins A, D, E, and K, as well as triglycerides and minerals like iron and calcium. Laminaria extract helps restore, repair, and protect the skin thanks to its nourishing and hydrating properties.
Sun protectant: Laminaria digitata extract is high in carotenoids, therefore it helps inhibit the absorption of harmful UVA and UVB sun rays. This ingredient is in some sun care products. It also inhibits the tyrosinase enzyme, which impairs the formation of melanin and prevents the darkening of the skin due to sun exposure.
Calms and Soothes skin: Iodine is an antiseptic, so products containing Laminaria extract can help soothe irritated or damaged skin, and help kill bacteria that may otherwise infect the skin.
Rich in Antioxidants: Laminaria extract helps prevent the formation of fine lines and wrinkles because it contains antioxidants that can help protect the skin against damage from free radicals that can lead to premature aging.
