Artisanal samphire pasta in the shape of the Zeeland button, a traditional regional ornament from and symbol of Zeeland culture. 

Produced in Zeeland from pure Zeeland ingredients. With samphire for a salty taste and beautiful color.

Prepare as regular pasta and combine with your favorite sauce. 

The pasta is made from grain, durum wheat, for which a careful selection of seeds was imported from Italy. The grain is grown in Zonnemaire, cleaned in Wemeldinge and stored in our own dry storage facility in Goes. Then the grain goes to Brasser in Biggekerke where it is milled entirely according to traditional methods with a windmill. Back in Goes, the pasta is produced using solar energy as much as possible.

Every step of the process - from seed to pasta - takes place within a radius of over 35 kilometers. This not only means that transportation is kept to an absolute minimum, it also makes it very easy to closely monitor every step of the process:

  • responsible and environmentally friendly crop protection,

  • the ideal drying conditions and

  • the exactly right grinding degree.

A comparison: factory pastas from leading brands have often traveled thousands of miles before the flour has even been milled. Zeeuwse Pasta grows and sources its ingredients locally, so its carbon footprint is very limited.
