Nori is a red algae and a good source of proteins, vitamins, minerals and contains little sodium. In Ireland it is eaten raw as a snack, but you can also bake or deep fry it.

Origin: Seaweed harvested by hand in its natural environment in the Northwest of America.
Usage:
Soak for 5 minutes in enough water and cook for 15 minutes. Nori increases in volume 6 times. You sprinkle dried nori flakes over your dish, for example over salads. You can bake them as a snack or cook them with meat and fish dishes. It is also used by soups, scrambled eggs, croquettes, pies or pasties, rice, pasta, etc...
General: With daily use, the recommended maximum dose is about 5 grams of dried seaweed per day.

Store at room temperature in a dark and dry place. Once opened, store in an airtight container and consume before the 'best before' date printed on the package.
The seaweed may contain traces of molluscs, crustaceans and fish and may contain small natural materials from the sea. The white color that can appear on the seaweed comes from the salt in the seaweed and ensures a natural preservation.
